The Russell Run Club will be waving the club banner once again at the DLRC Market in April 5th.

New York Central Fitness Trail parkrun
Finally, parkrun has returned! The weather and trail conditions cooperated enough on Saturday to hold parkrun No. 141. To celebrate the return, every participant also volunteered, proving that this parkrun community is committed to making this event happen.

Parkrun is a free timed 5km run, walk or jog every Saturday at 9:00 AM. To register, go to https://www.parkrun.ca/register/. You only have to do it once. Remember to bring your barcode or take a screenshot of it on your phone.

Club musings as we get a glimpse of spring!
After 3 months of treatment and listening to physio - I ran 10km in Aruba this week. It was hot, sticky and I may have rolled an ankle on the beach section of my run - but I felt amazing. I woke up the next morning with no pain (this is great news). Tara Q.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again. It’s been a long Winter. Frigid temps, snow and ice weren’t in our favor this year. Today was the first day I ran outside in almost 2 weeks, it felt amazing. Excited too put in lots of kms with the running club this coming season. Let’s do this!!!! Crystal M.
I love winter running, and we’ve definitely had some classic winter weather lately! The break in the sun on vacation has been an added bonus to training, with perfect temps and that early sunshine. Looking forward to making the most of each day as it comes! Erica M.
Still running .. rain or shine! Looking forward to a few less layers! Dominic F.
I ran my 50 min in the rain. The old me would have turn around but the persévérance one ran like it was nothing. I am proud of the runner I am becoming. Sebastien G.

New to the area and got out for my first run with the club on Tuesday and look forward to seeing you guys again next week too. Got out again in the sunshine on Saturday morning for a run in the mer bleu conservation area to explore new trails. Karen T.
